LOST IN TRANSLATION BOOK PROJECT
while I was walking through the lower east side, I found the strange letter..
without meaning, the letter appeared as a bold, strong, and even powerful to me.
Therefore, I chose this letter for my design project LOST IN TRANSLATION.

TWIST&BRUSH is a toothbrush that incorporates a toothpaste deposit. The traveller decides before departing how many doses of toothpaste will be needed for the trip and just twists the grip to push the paste before brushing.

6th Ave & King Street
Takes less than 5 minutes to cross the King Street between 6th & 7th Avenue.
However….
It takes more than an hour to find right moment with angles for shots.
West Village was a quiet, silent, solitude, bold, bulky, and cold. (WHICH I LIKE)
I found the color of black, brown, yellow, white, blue, and green in the King Street.
Street was not wild and vague, but King Street had the most significant quality; the silent.
KEYS – design problem
I have lots of KEYS. Three similar shape keys for my door lock, two mail box keys, one for my bike.
Even though Keys are different shape and color, I have to look at them carefully to distinguish which
one is a right key. I tried to post name tags or markers on keys to distinguish their difference, but did
not work at all. I want to hold my keys in a ring, but also want to find my right key easily.
please solve my problem!
1950s NEWS ADVERTISEMENT.

This is the actual newspaper camera advertisement from 1950s.
The interesting part of these advertisements are spacing and lines.
Even though words are tiny and small, photographs are well advertised with words.
It looks simple, great, and fabulous! I Think.
These days, newspaper ads are not complicate.
They use big picture with one sentence or even no sentence with signs.
The old newspaper advertisement used lots of words to give as much as information.
Consumers have right to know how product works and
I like the old news paper Ad which gives information and beauty of pictures.

I love the book cover from FLAPPERS AND PHILOSOPHERS and THE SIDE OF PARADISE
First of all, It has great shapes and lines that captures my eyes.
Also the color of the book, makes me feel comfortable with out any reasons.
yellowish and black color with triangular shapes gives me mysterious feeling of the book.
The title is not aligned in the middle. however, I can read the title right away.
